Top Speed ELITE Youth Track Club (TSE) was founded in 2022 by Coaches Leo Mays AND Nathaniel Walker with the desire to focus on developing athletes, both novice and experienced, into ELITE individuals both on and off the track. Each coach brings decades of coaching experience, including year round training programs in Sprint Nation (Mays & Lott) and Performance Hurdling (Walker).

Because TSE’s focus is to develop athletes, a part of the team’s Coaching Philosophy is to maintain a 1:10 Coaching to Athlete ratio. This will allow our coaches to provide the level of attention they need to work on everything from early mechanics to drive phase and even block starts. This also means TSE will not grow faster than the supporting coaching staff. Team Moms and Dads are encouraged to get involved on and off the field.

TSE leaves emphasis on ELITE, because that is the Core mentality we want our athletes to have day in and day out. It is not just a word to this team; it is the foundation of our Motto: Exceeding Limits and Inspiring True Excellence. Our goal is to prepare our athletes for beyond High School, and beyond Sports.

Our logo is the Eagle. As it represents our country’s strength, it also represents TSE’s strength and ability to “soar high” as it is written in the book of Isaiah; as it relates to the track, “We will run and not grow weary. We will walk and not faint.”
